Victor Hutchinson
Joined up as a private at 17 (underaged) with the 3rd Auckland Regiment. Trained in Egypt. Was in the Gallipoli landings along ANZAC Cove, wounded at Chunuk Bair on the 10th of Aug. 1915. Sent to England to recover. Gained the rank of Sergeant, he was put to training reinforcements until the 1st of Jan. 1918. When he was stationed along the Somme. Shipped home from England in July 1919. Survived the war and entered officer school in 1920.

William Moody
Joined up with the Auckland Mounted Rifles on the 16th of October, 1914. Nicknamed "Boy" by the company, he was known for habitually smoking on parade and during training. William Moody was deployed to ANZAC Cove and participated in the defense of the allied positions during the Ottoman's 3rd Attack on ANZAC Cove. At some point during the defense, his life was claimed on the 19th of May, 1915. He was surived by his wife back in Gisborne New Zealand.
